"Teknofest 2021" Application Deadline "February 28, 2021"

TEKNOFEST, the world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, is organized by the Turkey Technology Team Foundation and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the support of Turkey’s leading technology companies, public organizations, media organizations, and universities. Aiming to raise awareness in society about technology and science, and to increase Turkey’s human resources in the fields of science and engineering, TEKNOFEST hosts various events, primarily competitions in many areas of technology, from rockets to autonomous driving systems, from unmanned aerial vehicles to underwater systems, to support young people in working on future technologies.The excitement for TEKNOFEST 2021 has begun with the opening of applications for the “Technology Competitions” to be held as part of the festival. Thousands of young people from all walks of life eagerly anticipate and follow the TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions. Last year, 20,197 teams and 100,000 young participants from 81 provinces and 84 countries applied, with 5,000 finalists being selected to compete fiercely. This year, again, thousands of our skilled youth from primary school to middle school, high school, university, graduate, and graduate levels will be able to participate in technology competitions held in various categories to realize their dreams. Every year, more competition categories are opened compared to the previous year, and the TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions, which are the largest prize-winning technology competitions in Turkey’s history, will be held in 35 different categories this year, with the application deadline set for February 28, 2021. Unlike TEKNOFEST 2020, this year’s competition categories will include new ones such as Swarm Simulation, Communication Technologies, Combat UAVs, Artificial Intelligence, Culture and Tourism Technologies, Polar Research Projects for High School Students, Agricultural Unmanned Ground Vehicle, and Digital Technologies in Industry Competitions.To increase interest among youths in producing and developing national technology, over 5 million TL in material support will be provided to teams passing the preliminary round this year.
