The Opening Ceremony of our Digitalpark Technopark Ataşehir Campus was Held

The Opening Ceremony of our Dijitalpark Technopark Ataşehir Campus was held.

The ceremony, attended by the 27th Speaker of the TBMM Mr. İsmail KAHRAMAN, Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. M. Fatih KACIR, Governor of Rize Mr. İhsan Selim BAYDAŞ, Governor of Istanbul Mr. Davut GÜL, Istanbul Members of Parliament, Higher Education Council Member Mr. Hüseyin KARAMAN, our Chairman of the Board Mr. Nusret BAYRAKTAR, and the rectors of our founding partner universities Mr. Yusuf YILMAZ and Mr. Cemal YILDIZ, along with various representatives from public and private institutions, began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem.

In his opening speech, our General Manager Mr. Tahsin ENGİN shared information about Dijitalpark Technopark, touched on the momentum technology has gained in recent years and its necessities, and concluded his speech by stating, “Today, with their numbers exceeding 100, technoparks are our country’s visa out of the middle-income trap.”

The opening program continued with a speech by our Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR, followed by gift presentations and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and concluded with presentations by our entrepreneurs and company visits to the Minister.

Located next to the International Istanbul Finance Center, our Ataşehir Campus will host companies operating in fields such as financial technologies, chip design and production, aviation, and smart cities. Dijitalpark Technopark will bring a fresh breath of air to our country's technology and innovation.
