"Commercialization-Oriented Sustainable Collaboration Platform: Istanbul Innovation and Technology Licensing Center" Project will feature a Digital Patika Demoday and Project Market Event.Within the scope of the "Commercialization-Oriented Sustainable Collaboration Platform: Istanbul Innovation and Technology Licensing Center" Project, supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) and led by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University and Turkish-German University TGB Management Inc., the "Demoday and Project Market" event will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. The event aims to connect entrepreneurs and project owners, who have received training and mentorship support, with investors by presenting their business ideas to attract backing. It is planned to carry out activities that support the dissemination of knowledge, and the development and transfer of technology with a focus on commercialization.Representatives from 19 partner organizations, primarily those operating in relevant sectors, angel investors, venture capital companies, and officials of companies in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University and Turkish-German University TGB Management Inc. are expected to attend the event.In addition to investor support, the Digital Patika Demoday will award the top business idea with 60,000 TL, the second with 40,000 TL, and the third with 20,000 TL based on jury evaluation.Anyone interested in innovative and technology-focused business ideas can watch the Digital Patika Demoday event. The event will be held at the Turkish-German University Beykoz Campus.
The Digital Patika Pre-Incubation entrepreneurs showcasing their projects at the event are as follows:1. Hemşiremi Bul: A digital platform that allows individuals to access professional, fast, accessible, flexible, and transparent nursing services whenever they need nursing care.2. Interrupt: Produces innovative solutions in the biomedical field with a team of engineers and doctors. FOGLASSES, Interrupt's first product, focuses on integrating Parkinson's patients, who tend to be dependent and prone to depression, into social life using wearable sensors and smart glasses.3. Kantaronano: Focuses on obtaining nano-structured products using biodegradable materials like polycaprolactone through electrospinning, based on St. John's Wort oil.4. Karsagu: Develops user-friendly software for corporate carbon footprint calculation and reporting under ISO 14064:2018 standards, which can be marketed to companies as a product.5. Kozmi: An e-commerce site offering cosmetic product recommendations based on skin type and personal preferences, aiming to create a platform and community for conscious cosmetic consumption.6. LojiPark: Provides logistics companies with both a marketplace and a B2B SaaS application to manage operations easily, access a wide pool of carriers, and digitize processes.7. Mapla: As MAPLA Biotechnology, it offers solutions to issues such as eliminating valuable components in food waste, environmental pollution from plastic, and threats to future generations and species.8. Plasticversus: Manufactures biodegradable raw materials and products to reduce plastic pollution, bring agricultural waste into the economy, develop bio-solutions for the plastic industry, and prevent the climate crisis.9. Tare: Aims to prevent the environmental burden caused by every purchased product being wrapped in plastic packaging and the lack of widespread alternatives.10. Toprak Mekatronik: An assistive technology company producing devices that facilitate the lives of the disabled and elderly, including devices enabling the use of phones, TVs, and computers for those who are paralyzed, semi-paralyzed, or have muscle-joint problems.Within the scope of the "Commercialization-Oriented Sustainable Collaboration Platform: Istanbul Innovation and Technology Licensing Center" Project, the establishment of the Design and Prototyping Center will also be inaugurated. The center will provide free services to entrepreneurs, private sector representatives, academics, project stakeholders, and sector representatives throughout the project.The Design and Prototyping Center and its equipment are expected to accelerate the commercialization processes, as well as R&D and product development activities for SMEs that are members of stakeholder institutions, especially those operating under the Technopark umbrella, providing cost and time advantages, as well as efficiency and competitive advantages.
